BeautyCounter: Body Wash! (Product Review)

Now, I know that I have written a few product reviews now of the products that I use from Beauty Counter.  I do have to say that these are seriously some of the best products that I have every used.

I have used the cheapest products at the grocery store because that was all that I could afford and I have dabbled with the high-end at the department stores and free-standing shops as well.

I have NEVER used anything that make me feel this amazing.  I know that I have said this before but I seriously never thought about the chemicals that I was putting on my skin when I was younger.  I never realized what kind of impact these chemicals could really have on our bodies.

Once I went to college and really started to get into the sciences I started to learn more and more.  I continued to do my own research and continued to learn.  Continued to ask questions and continued to think outside of the box.

What happens when you stop asking questions?

The answer: You get stagnant! You become complacent.  You stop learning and you start to just ACCEPT what others say.

Wow….Ok…..I need to get back on track……

Ok the Body wash…….

Body Wash in Citrus Mimosa

10 FL. OZ. | Item #3030

Extremely gentle and non-drying with a creamy texture, our refreshing body wash is rich in nourishing marula and mongongo oils, ingredients that help soften and protect skin while sealing in moisture.

-Beautycounter description of the body wash from BeautyCounter.com

I will let you know that this is a non-drying product.  I can get out of the shower and not feel like I have to put any lotion or body oil on to bring back any moisture.  In the winter, especially in the dry air in the mountains when we are skiing or I am back in Chicago. While I am now 34 weeks pregnant I am using body oil all the time to really lock in the moisture to try to keep stretch marks away.

So let’s see what is in this awesome body wash:

The citrus mimosa scent is not over powering yet long lasting.  Mild and fantastic all the same.  Just enough scent to smell clean but not so much that you reek!  Just a clean scent to awaken your senses.

This 10 Fl. OZ. bottles retails for $24.  You may think that this is expensive and I can understand that.  I have had mine since November 22, 2016.  I use about the size of a dime and I use my loofa and so many bubbles…..So many bubbles!  My 3yo loves to pop them in the bottom of the shower before they head down the drain!

Pop, Pop

Pop the bubbles

Pop, Pop

Pop the bubbles

-The song my 3yo sings while popping the bubbles (obviously)

So there you have it!  I love this body wash and I have 75% of my 10 fl Oz. left and I have been using it daily for almost 4months now!

Ok time for some education and inspiration……
